　　Dr. Sha Pei is a lecturer at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance.Her primary research interest includes social network centrality and tax. Her research has been accepted by journals includingJournal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis,Accounting & FinanceandChina Journal of Accounting Research. She earned her Ph.D in Accounting from National University of Singapore.

　　Social network centrality has been widely applied in many fields of studies. Dr. Sha Pei will briefly introduce the concept of social network centrality and how to measure it. Next, the applications of social network centrality in finance and accounting studies will be discussed. Lastly, Dr. Sha Pei will show the audience how to construct a network and calculate social network centrality measures using the igraph package in R.
